The Southwest Connecticut program's energy-efficiency focus has been successful in enhancing electric system reliability during peak periods. CL&P and United Illuminating (UI) are continuing to promote participation in existing energy-efficiency programs and provide enhanced and innovative ways for the Norwalk-Stamford sub-area communities to reduce demand on the electric system.
