Benefits: The Power Factor Improvement program is designed to free-up system load (kW) and mitigate the potential negative rate impacts on customers with below-average power factors.

Eligibility: Industrial customers are eligible if their peak demand is between 350 kW and 1,000 kW (rate 55 customers) and they are billed on a kVA basis.

Incentive Strategy: CL&P and the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund offer technical and financial help for power factor improvement.
