Connecticut Cool Choice Rebate Program
(Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning)
For 2008, CL&P continues to provide Commercial and Industrial customers rebates for installing high-efficiency HVAC equipment and related controls. Rebates apply to new or replacement rooftop units, split systems, terminal A/C units and heat pumps with up to 30 tons of cooling capacity, and dual enthalpy economizer control on new units, that meet or exceed current program efficiency standards.
For 2008, new minimum efficiency standards and updated rebate levels will apply. Manufacturers' model numbers and performance ratings sheets, and invoices of purchased equipment must be submitted with completed rebate applications. CL&P must pre-approve rebate of $5,000 or more.
