Express Rebates Available for Energy-Efficient Lighting, HVAC, Motors and Vending Machines
These rebates offer CL&P business customers an opportunity to improve the energy efficiency of their stores or buildings.
Through rebates, we encourage customers to retrofit and replace lighting, motors and heating/cooling equipment with newer equipment that provides the same – or sometimes better – results and comfort while lowering energy use.
The rebates are fixed amounts, provided on a per-unit basis. They are paid directly to customers after they install pre-designated measures using qualified, licensed contractors.
Funding for these programs is limited, and customers will be qualified for enrollment on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, call us toll-free at 1-877-WISE-USE.

Rebate for Firm Commerical Gas Customers
If you are a natural gas customer, consider upgrading your natural gas fryers, steamers, and convection ovens to ENERGY STAR ® qualified models and recognize the value of real savings in your pocket. These energy-efficient appliances “can save up to 50 percent over their conventional counterparts”, according to the ENERGY STAR web site. Not only will you save energy, you’ll help reduce greenhouse gases, which everyone can appreciate.
