More effectively communicating with the towns we serve during storm preparation and power restoration efforts is a top priority at CL&P. That is why we have implemented a Town Liaison Program in which a dedicated CL&P employee works with a town to ensure optimal coordination in both pre-storm planning and post-storm restoration efforts. Whether that CL&P employee is embedded in the town Emergency Operations Center, or on-call and available as needed, CL&P is devoting the resources necessary to ensure greater communication and coordination with our municipal partners when storms damage our electrical delivery system.
