Whether you’re changing a bulb or building a house – energy-efficient choices will save you money.

With support from the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund, CL&P can offer you a variety of services and rebates for your home. In fact, for certain programs, energy experts will come to your home and perform these services at low or no cost to you.

Home Energy Solutions (HES): A specialist will come to your home and perform an energy assessment; find and professionally seal critical air leaks; replace incandescent bulbs with compact florescent lamps; provide water conservation devices and more.

Weatherization Residential Assistance Partnership (WRAP): For customers who have limited incomes, a specialist will come to your home to seal critical leaks and drafts; evaluate appliances, heating and cooling systems; provide energy-efficient lighting and water conservation devices and more.

Residential New Construction: Building a new home? You can build the ‘green’ home of your dreams and earn incentives for installing energy-efficient measures.

ENERGY STAR® Retail Products: This program promotes the purchase of energy-efficient lighting products and clothes washers through retail incentives and markdowns. Here you will find links to product information and our online SmartLiving Catalog, where you can purchase a variety of lighting and energy-saving products.
