Through our Standard Silver Service, we provide safe, reliable and accurate metering, meter reading and meter data to ensure accurate billing for customers and energy suppliers.
To meet and exceed customer and energy supplier needs, we are in the process of upgrading our metering, meter reading and meter data services for all customers over the next few years through the installation of Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) meters. AMR technology allows us to read meters remotely, via radio signals or through phone lines via optional Phone AMR meters.
AMR service provides added convenience for customers and support for energy suppliers in the restructured market place. In most cases, our meter readers will not need to enter your property to read your meter. This helps us to read meters on schedule and avoid sending out estimated bills which would otherwise be issued if our meter readers were unable to gain access to your property to read your meter.
