Since 1917, The Connecticut Light and Power Company (CL&P) has been a part of the community. Through the years CL&P has played a major role in the growth and vitality of Connecticut's economy and quality of life. CL&P and its employees help enrich Connecticut communities with innovative programs and services.

Assistance Programs and Services —Our primary concern is our customers. We recognize that some of CL&P’s customers face challenges with limited incomes and other hardships. CL&P offers programs and services to help customers with special payment plans, conservation services, shutoff protection and energy assistance programs.

Community Support —CL&P makes financial and in-kind charitable contributions to programs and initiatives that address community needs. We do this through grant making, volunteerism and community partnerships.
