With support from the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund, CL&P’s energy experts will work with you and your design team to identify energy-saving opportunities for your new construction project.

Our new construction program uses financial incentive strategies to offset the premium cost of purchasing and installing energy-efficient equipment. Energy efficiency is a proven way to reduce the cost of doing business. Thousands of Connecticut businesses have reduced their overhead by using electric energy-efficiency equipment and practices in their facilities.

Now, there are even more opportunities to save energy. In addition to electric energy-saving measures, the Energy Conscious Blueprint program includes incentives for natural gas efficiency measures as well. Firm gas customers of Yankee Gas Services Company, Connecticut Natural Gas and Southern Connecticut Gas can participate. With the addition of natural gas efficiency opportunities, businesses can benefit from seamless, integrated programs that will reduce their total energy usage.
